My Rights for Users

Search Frequently Asked Questions or See Below

  • What happens after I sell the text? What rights do I have to this text, what rights does the buyer have?

The seller transfers all the rights to the text to the buyer.
This is the right to own, dispose and use the text, as well as to allow an unlimited number of persons to own, dispose and use the text.

What can a buyer do? Read the text and keep it on your devices (own), publish on the websites (use), ask to correct errors in it and add images (to dispose ) and allow your employee or friend and any person or organization to do all this with text.

  • What about rewriting? Is the rewriter granted exclusive rights for the article if he or she rewrites the text?

No new original work is created when an article is rewritten. The rewriter is just rewriting a previously created work. This is why the rewriter isn’t granted exclusive rights to the article. When the buyer uses this article, the buyer may mention the rewriter’s name but isn’t obliged to. By failing to mention the author’s name, the buyer won’t break any laws.

  • The client/buyer is fraudulent! He refused to buy my article and scammed me out of it, but I got nothing! Please help me!

Please check your article for unique content. If it has a high percentage of unique content and your article isn’t published anywhere else, the client/buyer isn’t fraudulent: he’s not using your article. To accuse a client of fraud, you need to substantiate your claim before the moderator.

Why does the feedback team give such an answer?
You need to understand what fraud is. Here’s a simple definition of fraudulent activity: someone uses something that doesn’t belong to them and for which they didn’t pay, while the true owner has been lied to by the one who’s taking advantage of this something.

    What happened to you?
The buyer cancels the purchase, the client cancels the order. The transaction gets canceled. The buyer gets his money back, while you, the seller, get back your exclusive rights for your article. Now you can again own, use and change your article and authorize other persons to do the same. If you want, you can sell your article via eTXT, post it on your online blog or in your Portfolio. Remember: if the purchase is canceled but the percentage of unique content isn’t affected meaning the article isn’t published anywhere else, it’s not fraudulent activity. It’s just a canceled transaction. You get back your exclusive rights for your article, while the buyer gets his money back.

  • I’m a client. I got an article with a lot of mistakes. Please remove the author from the order and give me my money back. As for the article, I’ll correct the mistakes myself and resell it, or I’ll hire another author to revise the article.

Such actions are prohibited according to the Business Proposal all users accept during registration. When the author is removed from the order, the client gets their money back, while the seller gets back their exclusive rights for the article. After the client/buyer cancels the purchase, they’re not allowed to use the article – including its fragments, to correct mistakes or to give other authors for revision. It’s prohibited. When a transaction is canceled, the author/seller gets back their exclusive rights for the article.
Dear clients! Please remember that after canceling a transaction, the use of the article is prohibited!

  • I’m an author. I was removed from the order by a moderator but the client doesn’t know about it! It’s outrageous! I want to speak to the moderator!

Moderators can’t remove the author from an order. It’s not their decision to make. This decision is made by the client. If the client wants to accept the work with 2 mistakes, the work will be accepted. If the client wants, a work with 22 mistakes will be accepted and no moderator or administrator can stop the client from accepting it.
    What happened?
The client read the article and requested the moderator to remove the author from the order. When this happens, moderators check if the article meets the client’s requirements, study the mistakes pointed out by the client, and make a decision whether or not the author should be removed from the order (or if the order should be returned to the author for revision).

  • Moderators hate me for some reason. Maybe it’s my ethnic origin or my religion… They’ve already rejected two of my articles!

This assumption is wrong. Moderators can’t see authors. They see and check only their articles. They don’t know who exactly wants to post an article for sale. So claims that our moderators are biased are unfounded.

  • The buyer refused to buy my article because of mistakes. Then he posted a review in my Profile. He wrote, “The article has a lot of spelling mistakes.” It’s defamation that damages my business reputation! I could sue him. Please do something about it!

Defamation means making false statements. What does it mean? It means the person defaming you knows he’s lying. Moreover, he’s doing it intentionally. If the buyer notified you of the mistakes found, pointed them out or specified their type, it’s not defamation. If you want, you can ask our moderators to check your article for mistakes. If needed, you can use grammar books, dictionaries, etc.
You mustn’t accuse the client of defamation. Does the review damage your business reputation? Yes, but it’s not the reviewer’s fault.
Dear sellers! Please check your articles for mistakes carefully before posting them for sale. This is your area of responsibility.
