Profile and Portfolio

To successfully start working on eTXT, we recommend that you complete a profile and upload work examples to your portfolio. It will help you create a favorable impression and exhibit your competence to potential customers. In the future, your rating, qualification level, confirmed education and certification, as well as customer reviews and amount of completed work on eTXT will be the most important indicators of your professionalism as a freelancer.

Step 1. Tell about yourself

Go to the "Profile Settings" page and click the "Account Settings" button at the bottom of the main "Account" widget.

Upload the avatar, preferably your photo. The image must be larger than 190 x 140 pixels and less than 80 megabytes in size. Next, select your language and indicate your registration goals on eTXT. It will help us properly set up your account.

Enter your basic data: full name, date of birth, gender and place of residence. In the "Additional Information" field, write why customers should work with you.

Step 2. Indicate the orders you would like to fulfill

Indicate the types of work that you want to be considered for and the minimum prices for your services. After you set your minimum price, customers will not be able to place an order for a lesser price. Then you have the option to select topics that you are well-suited to work on.

Step 3.Confirm your education

You can confirm your education to moderators by uploading a copy of your degree, diploma or certificate. The specialization and the diploma confirmation icon will be displayed on your profile to highlight this for potential clients.

You can also take eTXT certifications (profile tests) in five areas: medicine, construction, law and justice, accounting and finance, and translations. It will allow you to qualify for highly specialized orders that are generally higher paying.

Step 4. Customize the interface

You can personalize some functional eTXT elements based on your preferences. Go to the “Interface” profile settings tab, check the functions you want and set the retention period for system messages.

Step 5.Configure notifications

Go to the “Notifications” profile settings tab and select which system messages you would like to receive. In addition to eTXT internal notifications, you can also receive them by e-mail or SMS. If you want SMS notifications, you will need to enter a phone number on your account.

Step 6. Install additional account protection

Link your phone number to your account in the Security tab. It will also increase the security level of your profile. To verify your number, you will receive a one-time verification code. After that, establish a verification question, so we can identify you and distinguish you from scammers in suspicious situations.

Step 7. Post your work examples

Upload examples of your work to your portfolio. Select "Portfolio" in the "Qualification" widget and click the "+ Add work to portfolio" button.

Step 8. Share with your friends

You can share a referral link to recommend eTXT to your friends and colleagues. You will receive additional income as a commission from orders of users you have referred to eTXT.
